CHANTILLY, Va., April 23, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- TASC, Inc. has named Mark A. Forman vice president for IT services and cloud initiatives. In this new role, Forman will help shape TASC's solutions in cyber, cloud and mobile computing, and data analytics.

"His leadership will help support our civil-agency customers with innovation for cloud computing and for complex IT systems."
A 29-year industry veteran, Forman has been broadly recognized for his work in IT and acquisition reform in the legislative and executive branches of government, as well as in industry. He served as administrator of the Office of e-Government and IT from June 2001 to August 2003 – a position recognized as the first federal CIO. He has held senior-level roles in consulting and technology firms, including as a partner/principal at KPMG; vice president, Global Public Sector at Unisys; and principal, Global eBusiness Strategy at IBM. He also served as senior staff member of the U.S. Senate's Governmental Affairs and Joint Economic Committees. Immediately before rejoining TASC, Forman was co-founder and CEO of Government Transaction Services LLC. He originally worked at TASC from 1985 to 1989.
Forman holds a master of arts in public policy from the University of Chicago and a bachelor of arts in economics from The Ohio State University.
