CHANTILLY, Va., June 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- TASC has been awarded a position by the General Services Administration (GSA) on the One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services (OASIS) Contract, through which U.S. federal agencies can procure complex professional services. The multiple-award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract (IDIQ) has a five-year period of performance and one five-year option. TASC is one of 74 providers who will compete for task orders issued through the contract. The contract has no announced ceiling limit.
TASC was awarded a prime position in each of the six OASIS work pools in which it bid. Under the contract, TASC will provide professional services in the contract's core areas of management consulting, program management, financial, logistics, engineering and scientific services.
The OASIS contract is designed to address the full range of complex integrated professional services needs of all federal agencies, including the intelligence community and Department of Defense, through all lifecycle phases and mission areas. OASIS is also essential to the U.S. Air Force, which signed a memorandum of understanding with GSA late last year to use the vehicle as a primary means for contracting for complex professional services.
"TASC is pleased to provide innovative, high-quality professional services to U.S. government organizations through the OASIS contract," said John P. Hynes Jr., TASC president and CEO. "We've worked with the GSA since 1999 through our existing GSA schedules, PES, MOBIS and FABS. TASC has contracted more than $1 billion dollars through GSA schedules. With OASIS, we now look forward to continuing to provide the Air Force and other federal organizations with professional services that offer the technical, engineering and management depth needed to meet their mission requirements."
