CHANTILLY, Va., May 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- TASC, Inc. has named Joseph Pacileo vice president of the company's Mission Solutions business unit. In this role, Pacileo will oversee TASC operations supporting its intelligence and cyber customers at Ft. Meade.

Pacileo joins TASC from ManTech International Corporation, where he served as vice president of Cyber Operations. Previously, he served as a director at Northrop Grumman, managing systems engineering, training and technical services. Before moving to the private sector, Pacileo served at the National Security Agency (NSA) for more than 15 years in multiple military assignments, most recently as chief of NSA's Remote Operations Center. Pacileo retired from the U.S. Army with the rank of colonel after 25 years of active-duty service supporting the intelligence community with an emphasis on signal intelligence and cyber. A highly decorated soldier, his awards include the Defense Superior Service Medal, Army Legion of Merit Medal and the Bronze Star Medal.
Currently, Pacileo serves on the AFCEA Central Maryland Executive board as vice president for USCYBERCOM, the board of directors of the Ft. Meade Alliance and the board of the University of Maryland's Maryland Cybersecurity Center. He earned an M.S.A. in administration at Central Michigan University and a B.A. in political science at UC Davis. Pacileo is also a graduate of NSA's highly selective three-year military intern program.
