NEW YORK, June 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- TargetSpot, a Vivendi company, and the world's largest, most advanced digital audio ad platform, today announced the launch of its integration with AppNexus, the world's leading independent advertising technology company that enables and optimizes the real-time sale and purchase of digital advertising. The collaboration enables AppNexus advertising partners to programmatically buy a robust source of targeted digital audio supply from TargetSpot, which includes over 100 of the leading online music, Internet radio and podcast content providers.
This marks an expansion of TargetSpot's programmatic offering, following its partnership with the Rubicon Project earlier this year. Additionally, TargetSpot has preferred partnerships with top streaming audio brands including CBS RADIO's Radio.com, a platform for users to listen live to 173 stations online, including simulcasts of the company's over-the-air radio stations, and SBS/LaMusica, a leader in Spanish language radio programming, providing marketers with "first look" priority access to premium inventory.
Marketers can now deliver their messaging programmatically to consumers across music, sports, news, lifestyle, multicultural and podcast audio content. Buyers can also target by content, geography, psychographic and behavioral audience segments. As audio listening remains fragmented across devices and content, TargetSpot brings together listeners providing marketers with a simple way to reach them.
"It's important to us to make it easy for our clients to purchase digital audio campaigns on our platform the way they want," says David Kert, CRO and COO, TargetSpot, US. "Partnering with AppNexus gives advertisers another great tool to buy our inventory, and we believe ease of purchasing digital audio campaigns is great for the industry as whole."
"Our buyers have a growing appetite for premium audio inventory. AppNexus' partnership with Targetspot will allow those that are already interested in audio to increase the scale and reach of existing campaigns; for the others, it's an opportunity to further diversify the channels through which they reach their programmatic audiences," said Eric Hoffert, SVP, Video Technology, AppNexus.
