Tapestry Solutions and Quantum3D Demonstrate Close Combat Simulator at HALO Counter-Terrorism Summit

SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct. 31, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Quantum3D, Inc., a leading provider of visual computing solutions for government and commercial applications, today announced it is participating with Tapestry Solutions to demonstrate ExpeditionDI – the industry's first self-contained, wearable close combat infantry simulator training platform – during the HALO Counter-Terrorism Summit in San Diego on Oct. 29 – Nov. 2, 2012. The HALO Summit provides a real-time counter-terrorism battle lab for all stakeholders in the national security construct and includes several different scenarios against current and relevant threats. Utilizing Quantum3D's ExpeditionDI, the training demonstrations are designed to help Homeland Security maintain its counter-terrorism advantage.
