Tammy Nelson named Chief Marketing Officer at SageSure Insurance Managers

Nelson comes to SageSure from American Modern Insurance Group, part of Munich Re, where she was Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Customer Experience Officer. While at American Modern, she led marketing, communications, customer experience and innovation/digital. Prior to that, Nelson spent most of her career leading marketing and sales for Ameriprise Auto & Home Insurance. In addition to her property/casualty experience, Nelson was head of marketing for a vision insurance company and held various marketing roles at American Express and several ad agencies.

Earlier this year, Nelson was named Top CMO in the Cincinnati Business Courier's C-Suite Awards. She has a Master of Business Administration degree from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor's degree in advertising and economics from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. She is a designated Certified Customer Experience Professional (CCXP) and a graduate of Leadership Cincinnati.
