SEATTLE, Feb. 16, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- First Sound Bank (OTCBB: FSWA) today announced that Tammy J. Hanson has joined the company and will serve as executive vice president and chief administrative officer. In addition to managing all First Sound Bank service, support and delivery channels, Hanson will serve as a member of the bank's Executive Management Team and be involved in setting strategic objectives and assessing and mitigating operational and technical risks.
A 35-year banking veteran, Hanson most recently served as first vice president and manager of Commercial and Consumer Technology for HomeStreet Bank. She began her career as a loan operations supervisor for Auburn Valley Bank in 1981, then joined Pacific Northwest Bank as vice president and division manager of Loan Operations in 1988, where she later served as manager of the Business Banking Project Management Team when the bank was acquired by Wells Fargo. In 2006, Hanson joined Fortune Bank and served eight years as executive vice president of operations, until its acquisition by HomeStreet Bank.
A 2010 graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington, Hanson served on the Washington Bankers Association Education Committee from 2012-2015 and seven years as a campaign coordinator for United Way of King County. She also is a longtime volunteer with United Way Day of Caring and Stair Climb for Leukemia/Lymphoma.
