Talcum Powder Lawsuit News: Missouri Litigation Set to Convene Ovarian Cancer Trials in April and June, Bernstein Liebhard LLP Reports

NEW YORK, April 3, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The talcum powder litigation underway in Missouri's 22^nd Circuit Court in St. Louis is scheduled to convene two additional ovarian cancer trials in the coming months. According to court documents, the consolidated proceeding's fifth trial is to begin on April 10^th, while the sixth trial will commence in June. Both lawsuits were filed on behalf of women who allegedly developed ovarian cancer due to the long-term use of Johnson & Johnson's talc-based powders for feminine hygiene purposes. Johnson & Johnson and other defendants had sought to stay both trials; however, those motions were denied by the Court on March 15^th. (Case No 1422-CC09012-01)
