Chosen by Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce for Innovation and Excellence during 14th Annual NOVO Awards

Take Stock in Children was recognized for its FLIGHT (Facilitating Long-Term Improvements in Graduation and Higher Education for Tomorrow) program which provides a unique opportunity for deserving, low-income youth/students to break the cycle of poverty through college completion. Proving to be highly successful, the program provides student with a college scholarship, a caring volunteer mentor, and a professional College Success Coach with a focus on college and career readiness. 96% high school graduation rate and 87% of its students enrolling into college.
Take Stock in Children was established 20 years ago based in Miami and serving every county in Florida. The comprehensive services start in middle school, continue through high school and extend through the student's post-secondary education.
