NEW YORK, Aug. 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- UBM TechWeb's Light Reading (www.lightreading.com) is now accepting responses in its third annual telecom industry salary survey, the largest global survey of its kind.

The survey is available at:

Last year, as part of this annual survey, 65 percent of more than 2,500 telecom professionals, including nearly 600 service providers, said they expected to make more money in 2012 than they did in 2011. About three-quarters of the respondents were satisfied with their employers overall.
Has the economy changed those attitudes? Has the meteoric growth in wireless data, handsets and services made it easier for the industry to absorb the consolidation happening everywhere else?
Once Light Reading has enough responses for this survey, the results will be right alongside our past two years of results, which are free to registered users at: www.lightreading.com/salarysurvey.
