Taiwan Seeks to Be Number One in Global Safety with New Life Saving Products
Orange County Mayor and Director General of Taipei in Miami See Florida as Gateway to Latin Markets
ORLANDO, Fla., June 19, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Philip T.Y. Wang, Director General of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Miami, hosted the Taiwan Products Launch and International Press Conference at the Orange County Convention Center in Florida during InfoComm 2015. Mr. Wang, officially introduced new products given the Taiwan Excellence Award to a packed room attended by 75 business executives and municipal leaders, including Teresa Jacobs, Mayor of Orange County, Florida.

Mayor Jacobs said that Taiwan's longstanding reputation for developing household products will create more jobs through the private sector. The conference called, "Taiwan: The New Stratosphere," featured products by Taiwan manufacturers to make our lives safer, starting with patient care in the medical industry.
Advantech Corporation, in Taipei, demonstrated its hand-held medical device, the Advantech Pocket Pad, used for easy identification and patient tracking of their medical histories.
Taiwan manufacturer BXB company was led by mass shootings and natural disasters to develop the WMP-3000 PA System. This multi-language system transforms a public address system into an emergency command station by triggering simultaneous communication across a network to first responders and security.
AG Neovo introduced a new unbreakable hi-definition optical glass display, and CHIAYO presented an affordable and dependable conference system.
Taiwan, known as a technology powerhouse, wants to maintain a competitive edge globally with inventions that they believe will become synonymous with saving lives.
Taiwan sees Florida as a gateway to introduce made in Taiwan products to the Latin American markets.
Over 60 new products are on display at the Taiwan Pavilion at InfoComm.
