In confirmation of its ongoing global expansion strategy, the company has just signed a partnering agreement with the leading vendor in the region, Keysoft - Financial Performance Management Applications provider.
Heading the new partner based in Atasehir - Istanbul is Fehmi Ozisitmez, who is a veteran in software business and financial performance management applications, will report directly to Tagetik's Chief Operating Officer, Manuel Vellutini. This is the case of Tuerk Ekonomi Bankasi, abbreviated TEB (http://www.teb.com.tr/), the first customer just a few months after the opening of the Turkish distribution. In March 2005, TEB has signed a joint venture agreement with the French BNP Paribas SA, one of the largest financial associations in the world. TEB is aggressively expanding its retail network in Turkey since and has more than 240 branches as of Q2 2007.
TEB's 2010 merger with Fortis Bank increased the group numbers to over 600 branch offices and 10,000 employees. TEB decided to implement Tagetik 3.0 with the support of Keysoft's consultants to manage easily and quickly the rising demands on improving its legal reporting requirements following the merger. The Tagetik's financial reporting application went live as of March 2011.
