TAG Heuer Evolves Iconic Design and Unveils the New Avant-Garde Look of the Link Collection
LAS VEGAS, June 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- For more than two decades, TAG Heuer's Link collection has embodied the luxury Swiss watch brand's commitment to creating timepieces that are beautifully crafted, versatile and extremely comfortable to wear. Instantly recognizable with its signature double S-shaped, ergonomic bracelet, Link is the ideal marriage of form and function. Today, TAG Heuer unveils a new design for the Link that takes this emblem of personal style to the next level of sophistication.
Offered in a variety of styles, from a quartz watch to an automatic chronograph, the revitalized Link series boasts a more contemporary aesthetic. TAG Heuer's design team streamlined the Link bracelet without forsaking its iconic design or comfort. The cases are a striking contrast of fine-brushed horns and polished and rounded sides, while many of the fixed bezels combine round and cushion-cut shapes. The result is a striking, timeless aesthetic that allows each piece to easily transition from the boardroom to a leisurely weekend. Available with either a black or silver dial, the Link pieces feature curved, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with double-sided antireflective treatment for optimal readability.
The Link series will be available exclusively at TAG Heuer's Las Vegas-based flagship until August 2011, and then launch at TAG Heuer boutiques and authorized retailers worldwide.
