Tactical Air Defense Services Hires Director of Disaster Relief Services
CARSON CITY, Nev., July 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Tactical Air Defense Services, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: TADF), an Aerospace/Defense Services contractor that offers air-combat training, aerial refueling, aircraft maintenance, disaster relief services, and other Aerospace/Defense services to the United States and Foreign militaries and agencies, is pleased to announce that it has hired Tom Robinson as its Director of Disaster Relief Services.
Since 1995, Mr. Robinson has been the Chief Executive Officer of Global Emergency Response, Inc., a private company supplying aerial fire-fighting services and aerial relief services to disaster zones around the world through the deployment of ILyushin IL-76 aircraft. Most recently, Mr. Robinson was instrumental in deploying IL-76 aircraft to Greece and other European countries to provide aerial fire-fighting services.
Demand for disaster relief services has been greatly increasing in the last few years, due in large part to the well-publicized wildfires in California, the unprecedented oil-spill in the Gulf of Mexico, and the recent earthquake in Haiti. TADF, through its exclusive agreement to lease ILyushin IL-78 and IL-76 super-tanker aircraft, is uniquely positioned to benefit from Mr. Robinson's experience and contacts in the disaster relief services business. With Mr. Robinson spearheading its effort, TADF intends to pursue aerial fire-fighting service contracts, oil-spill containment service contracts, and emergency relief service contracts, with government and humanitarian agencies and with private business.
Alexis C. Korybut, Chief Executive Officer of TADF, stated, "We are very pleased to have acquired Mr. Robinson to manage and grow TADF's disaster relief services business. We consider Mr. Robinson to be one of the leading experts in this area, and someone who is uniquely suited to help us create a significant presence in this quickly expanding industry."
