Made daily with shrimp hand-marinated in the TC kitchen, in a mix of ancho chile and spices, Shrimp Tampico is available at all Taco Cabana restaurants as a shrimp taco or quesadilla.
"We know how popular shrimp tacos have become, so we wanted to meet that demand and offer our guests Tacos Cabana's version on this Mexican favorite," said Todd Coerver, chief operating officer at Taco Cabana. "This flavorful item was a huge hit when it was previously offered for a limited time only in the spring. We've listened to our guests and now they will be able to get Shrimp Tampico anytime at their favorite Taco Cabana."
The Shrimp Tampico taco comes with marinated shrimp topped with shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes, served in a fresh, warm flour tortilla. The quesadilla version features shrimp, pico de gallo and a melted blend of shredded Monterey Jack and cheddar cheese, grilled between two fresh flour tortillas. A special pineapple chipotle salsa, made fresh by hand, has been permanently added to the salsa bar to compliment this unique offering.
Available now, the Shrimp Tampico tacos comes in a combo, served with a side item (chips and queso or chips and guacamole) and a drink, or as a plate option with freshly made rice, beans and tortillas.
