T Brand Studio and The Infatuation Announce 'The Special,' an Exploration of Food and Culture Inspired by the first ever BMW X7 Sports Activity Vehicle
Podcast Series Hosted by Minya Oh, a.k.a. Miss Info, Focuses on Restaurants and their Impact on Six U.S. Cities
NEW YORK, Feb. 25, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Inspired by the first ever BMW X7, today, The New York Times's branded content studio, T Brand Studio and restaurant discovery platform, The Infatuation, announced a special podcast collaboration with BMW USA.
The Special, hosted by journalist Minya Oh, also known as Miss Info, is a new six-episode podcast series that takes a different look into six U.S. cities - Seattle, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Greenville, and Houston - exploring how the city and their neighborhoods evolved into such interesting places to eat, explore and live. The first episode, featuring Seattle, launches today, February 25, with new episodes set to launch weekly through March 30.
From artists to architects, musicians to entrepreneurs, and beyond, The Special explores each city's places, spaces, and of course, its food. Each episode culminates with 'The Special' — a dish prepared for the show's guests by a local chef that is in essence, by their opinion, a manifestation of each city on a plate.
The Special also examines the culture of cities through the eyes of its locals while exploring the intersection of old and new – looking at what makes each city so exciting. The first-ever BMW X7 Sports Activity Vehicle was designed with that same spirit in mind, fusing together class leading comfort and the latest technology with the performance expected from all BMW models. Built in Spartanburg, South Carolina, the BMW X7 is the largest BMW ever and first to feature standard three row seating. To learn more or book a test drive, visit www.bmwusa.com/X7.
