Systel Launches Rugged Tablet Product Line And Fanless 2U Server At The 2015 Offshore Technology Conference In Houston
HOUSTON, May 4, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Systel, Inc., the leader in ruggedized computing for the energy industry, announced the launch of four new products at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) today. The new products include three rugged tablets in their new rugged mobile computing product line and a rugged 2U sealed, fanless rack mount computer.
Ideal for offshore, wireline, fracturing, MWD/LWD and field data acquisition oil and gas applications, Systel's new products focus on mobility and functionality. The four new products being launched at OTC have the associated features and specifications as follows:
- 8" Rugged Atom Tablet (RT1000) – Intel Bay Trail processor, 4GB memory, runs Windows or Android OS, and has 700 nits sunlight readable display. MIL-STD-810G and IP65 rated with operating temperature from -20 to 60 degrees C. Optional functions include 3G, GPS, bar code scanner, MSR, smart card reader, and RFID.
- 10" Extreme Rugged Tablet (RT2000) – Intel Ivy Bridge i7/i5 processor, up to 16GB memory, operating temperature from -20 to 60C. Sunlight readable and features 5 point projected capacitive touch screen. MIL-STD-810G, MIL-STD-461F, and IP65 rated. Dual hot swap batteries and wide variety of I/O including two USB 3.0 ports.
- 11" Rugged Tablet (RT3000) – Intel Haswell i7/i5/i3 processor and up to 8GB memory. Capacitive multi-touch with water tolerant touch design (can be used while display is wet). Lightweight and MIL-STD-810G & IP65 rated. Integrated bar code scanner and wide variety of I/O including dual USB 3.0 ports.
- Fanless 2U Rugged Rack Mount Server (IPC42320) – 13" deep chassis is sealed against dust and features up to 4 removable SSDs, 32GB of memory and up to 3 add-in PCI/PCIe card slots. Features an Intel 4th generation core i7 processor, MIL-STD-810G shock and vibration certification and 0-55 degrees C operating temperature.
