Innovative solutions automate and digitize multispecies blood smears for review

LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill., Feb. 7, 2018 /PRNewswire/ --Sysmex America, a trusted leader in clinical laboratory solutions that optimize efficiency, announced today that it will distribute the CellaVision DM9600 Vet and CellaVision DM1200 Vet analyzers.

The partnership between Sysmex and CellaVision, a global medical technology company that secures and supports workflows within and between hospitals, will bring new solutions that improve testing for a variety of species.

CellaVision Vet analyzers automatically locate cells on smears made from animal peripheral blood. The software then presents images of cells, enabling results to be consolidated into a networked solution. The solution allows staff at remote satellite locations to view and consult on test results in real-time, while maintaining the accuracy and integrity of results.
