Syracuse Law Partners With 2U for Juris Doctor (J.D.) Degree Program
SYRACUSE, N.Y., April 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Syracuse University College of Law and 2U, Inc. (NASDAQ: TWOU), today announced a partnership to develop a hybrid Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree program, pending New York State and American Bar Association approval.

That's why Syracuse Law has chosen to partner with 2U to develop a hybrid J.D. degree program developed by our nationally and internationally known faculty that will help us expand upon our mission to provide modern legal training for tomorrow's lawyers and leaders, including those who cannot easily attend a fully residential program."

The J.D. program will feature live, face-to-face online classes and dynamic course content delivered through 2U's Platform. Syracuse Law faculty will create coursework using 2U's proprietary Bidirectional Learning Tool™, which empowers law professors to teach online using a variety of teaching approaches including the Socratic method, and offers students the chance to learn and receive feedback from classmates and professors in real time. The Syracuse Law hybrid program will also feature traditional in-person learning experiences, including on-campus courses, and applied learning experiences including externships.
