ATLANTA, Dec. 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Synthio, the fastest-growing Customer Data Platform (CDP), today announced the appointment of technology leader Tim Poschel as Chief Information Officer.
"I am excited to join Synthio in this phase of development as we take the platform to new and unprecedented heights," said Tim. "I look forward to working alongside the ever-innovative Synthio team and contributing to the company's inevitable success."
Tim joins Synthio after multiple positions at Equifax (including Vice President of Global Omnichannel Platform Management and Vice President of Global Consumer Services Technology). In the latter role, Tim was responsible for the four-year transformation of a $200M offshore-centered waterfall development organization into a $400M right-shore scaled agile team of 100+ spanning Atlanta, Dublin and Santiago.
At Synthio, Tim plays a critical role as head of Synthio's product management, development and data teams.
"As we expand as a company, we are focused on making strategic decisions to facilitate our growth," said Aaron Biddar, CEO, Synthio. "Bringing Tim on as CIO is one such strategic decision. His technical prowess and demonstrated track record of success in the IT industry seamlessly integrates with Synthio's future-oriented mindset. I am eager to watch our platform flourish in his very capable hands."
Tim is a technology veteran with decades of IT experience with a specialty in enterprise platform architecture. Prior to Equifax, he served as a senior technology leader at CocaCola, ChoicePoint, LexisNexis, IHG, ADP, McKesson and more, where he provided strategic and tactical guidance while balancing conflicting business and technology imperatives.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of South Alabama and has completed the Field Group Institute Technology Leadership Development Program. To learn more about Synthio, click here.
