AUSTIN, Texas, March 8, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Ignite Technologies and its parent, ESW Capital, announced today it has acquired Synoptos, a leading media intelligence firm based in Washington DC. Synoptos will operate as Ignite Synoptos Solutions, Inc., a key part of the Ignite Technologies family of companies.
The Synoptos platform discovers and delivers news and social media insights through its proprietary technology and global team of media analysts. As a media monitoring and intelligence company, Synoptos uncovers key data to influence communications strategies, operational decisions, and reputation management.
"Synoptos enables executive clientele to achieve a critical advantage: to be the most informed person at the table," said Davin Cushman, CEO, Ignite Technologies. "Synoptos customers are able to see a full picture of their organization and their industry within the broader external environment to improve decision-making, strategy development, and performance measurement. We see great synergies with Synoptos and our FirstRain solution, which provides similar insights to enterprise sellers in their quest to better understand customers. We look forward to strengthening the technical expertise and customer service that existing Synoptos clients are accustomed to and providing these new media intelligence capabilities to all of Ignite's loyal customers."
Synoptos was founded in 2014, serving Fortune 500 businesses, federal agencies, congressional committees and a variety of for- and non-profit organizations.
"Ignite and Synoptos share clear common values: When data-driven solutions meet a mission of customer success, the outcome is improved operational decision-making for clients," said Andrew Einhorn, President, Synoptos. "We're proud to join forces with Ignite and to gain the vast resources of ESW. It's a great fit for both current Synoptos customers, who will also gain access to an array of complimentary technology solutions, as well as the existing Ignite customer base who will receive strengthened media intelligence to influence their key stakeholders."
The Synoptos solution will become part of the innovative Ignite Prime program, a one-of-a-kind benefit for existing Ignite customers. The Ignite Prime program increases a customer's technology capabilities at no incremental cost. Customers with current Ignite license agreements have free access to Ignite's valuable portfolio of proven solutions, including licenses with unlimited access, and support at the same service level as their existing Ignite contract, for any Prime-eligible product.
