Syneren Technologies Corporation Joins TSCP
Leader in one-stop plug & play solution for "sensitive" file search and destroy operations joins TSCP to help members protect sensitive files on travel laptops.
VIENNA, Va., Aug. 3, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Transglobal Secure Collaboration Program (TSCP), the only government-industry consortium focused on secure collaboration for the defense community, announced today that Syneren Technologies Corporation, a leading provider of secure collaboration and information sharing solutions, has joined TSCP as a Silver Member.
Syneren Technologies brings a wealth of experience, capabilities and value to the TSCP and will play a critical role in developing and deploying commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions that enable widespread adoption of TSCP specifications. Syneren will also gain immediate visibility among the global TSCP community, significantly supporting working groups, demonstrating proofs-of-concept, and pilot testing a one-stop intuitive solution for all "sensitive" file search and destroy solutions aligned to TSCP member needs.
"We are excited to share our product and process innovations with the TSCP community. Major organizations within government such as departments of State and Defense, FBI, CIA and NSA can use our Sensitive Document Tracker (SDT) to prevent inadvertent loss of files from a confidential/Secret/Top Secret network to a laptop (travel or mobile)," said Meg Vootukuru, founder and CEO of Syneren Technologies Corporation.
Security threats to critical assets around the world are increasing at an accelerated pace and becoming ever more sophisticated. This paradigm shift warrants a common, robust approach to ensure proper protection of information. TSCP's core mission is to identify and prioritize requirements for all aspects of secure collaboration and information-sharing, and then to develop frameworks for secure collaboration – from identity management, secure email, information labeling and handling to document sharing– for adoption by its member organizations and their supply chains.
"We are pleased to welcome Syneren Technologies to TSCP," said Keith Ward, TSCP President and CEO. "We strongly believe that with all parties working together toward a common goal, we can reduce the risk of information security breaches, accelerate secure information sharing across Defense organizations, and reduce overall program costs."
Protection of sensitive information against unauthorized dissemination is a priority for TSCP members. Syneren has ready-to-deploy solutions that address the specialized needs of government programs in an ever open yet insecure IT world. "We now look forward to advancing the mission of the aerospace and defense sector and integrate our knowledge into TSCP specifications," says Dr. Amit Maitra, CTO of Syneren Technologies. "With all parties working together toward a common goal, we can greatly reduce the risk of information security breaches, facilitate and accelerate secure information sharing across A&D organizations and reduce overall program costs."
