Synaptic Digital Expands Team With Five New Hires
Ramps Up Efforts across U.S. to Meet Demand for New MediaCentre Offering and Communications Services Suite
NEW YORK, Oct. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Synaptic Digital, the global leader in digital media solutions, today announced the expansion of its U.S. sales team. The expansion is significant in that it coincides with the company's first major product launch since Medialink and The NewsMarket merged. The product, MediaCentre, is a multimedia communications command center for marketing, public relations and communications professionals.

Industry veteran Byron Carlisle will head up the company's San Francisco operations as Vice President, Client Solutions – Northwest. Carlisle brings over 18 years of digital and sales experience to Synaptic Digital, with a successful record of building and managing leading sales teams within internet, technology and broadcasting companies ranging from entrepreneurial start-ups, emerging industry leaders and Fortune 1000 firms including Slide, Ask Jeeves (i.e. ask.com), Webshots, CNET and CBS Broadcasting.
Phil Schulz, Director, Client Solutions will join Carlisle in our San Francisco office. Schulz was previously at Turnhere, Inc., a web video marketing company, where he served as Director of Sales. Schulz brings 10 years of experience in both TV and film, including a Production Management role at Granada USA Television and several film, TV, and commercial production organizations.
Deirdre Willits, Director, Client Solutions, will oversee business development from Synaptic Digital's new Denver office, where she will serve clients in the Rocky Mountain region. With over 12 years of experience in communications, Willits was previously based in the Washington D.C. office (when it was formerly Medialink) where she specialized in public affairs and strategic communications for clients in the government, corporate and nonprofit sectors.
Robert Foster joins the team at Synaptic Digital's New York Headquarters as Vice President, Client Solutions. For the past 18 years, Foster has worked in the entertainment, technology and digital video space at companies including Narrowstep, a broadband streaming platform that enables broadcast, cable, satellite, and production companies to manage video programming over broadband networks and Exceed Communications, where he managed the development of web-based business solutions for companies in North and South America.
Whitney Siavelis also joins the New York office as Vice President, Client Solutions. Siavelis brings over 15 years of sales and business development experience within the technology and telecommunications space having worked at organizations like MCI and Sprint. Most recently, Whitney was a sales leader for MediaNet, a leading provider of premium digital media content.
