Synapse™ Telephone System From AT&T Enhances Communication for Small-To-Medium Businesses
New T1/PRI Gateway and Upgraded Software Allows Synapse System to Support 39 Lines and 100 extensions
BEAVERTON, Ore., Feb. 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Advanced American Telephones, which manufactures AT&T-branded telephones under a license agreement with AT&T Intellectual Property, today introduced added functionality to the Synapse™ phone system for small- to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) with the launch of the Synapse T1/PRI Gateway (SB67060). The T1/PRI Gateway connects to the Synapse phone system, supporting 100 extensions and up to 39 lines with Direct Inward Dialing (DID) when paired with the SB67010 PSTN Gateway.
Ideal for use in businesses that require additional outside lines, the Synapse T1/PRI Gateway helps employees and customers communicate faster on the Synapse phone system (SB67030). With DID, outside callers can reach individual extensions directly instead of entering an extension number or waiting on an automated attendant. For extra flexibility, the software upgrade that accompanies the Primary Rate Interface (PRI) Gateway permits expansion for up to 100 extensions to meet the needs of any small-to-medium-sized business.
The Synapse business phone system is an advanced PBX-style telephone system with intuitive, easy-to-understand management interface and upgradeable software. Synapse meets the diverse needs of any SMB organization with the system's easily scalable architecture to protect technology infrastructure investments and delivers a significantly lower total cost of ownership compared to competing platforms.
"With limited staff and the need for more efficient communication, small businesses can take advantage of direct communication with customers using Direct Inward Dialing on an already feature-rich phone system," said Jane Donnelly, director of sales for the enterprise business group at Advanced American Telephones. "The T1/PRI Gateway is a great solution for businesses that need the option of expansion to support their increasing business."
With the bottom line in mind, the Synapse phone system with the T1/PRI Gateway is a scalable solution that offers the quality of DECT 6.0 technology for workplace mobility along with the adaptability for future communications needs.
