According to CCID Consulting, China's leading IT research institute, Sybase is now the second highest ranked database software vendor in China's burgeoning telecommunications, banking and insurance sectors. In the latest IT Application Market 2010-2011 annual report, CCID Consulting estimated Sybase's database has garnered 25.1 percent market share in the telecommunications industry, 25 percent in the banking industry, and 24.1 percent in the insurance industry.
