SXSW Festival Selects Spredfast to Manage Social Media Activity During Interactive
Austin Start-up Set to Take Festival by Storm with Hosted Lounge, Meet-Up, Panel Discussions and Airstream Photo Booth
AUSTIN, Texas, March 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Spredfast, a leading social media management system provider, has been chosen to manage all social media for the SXSW Interactive Festival, March 9 – 13, 2012. Using Spredfast, South by Southwest will be able to monitor, manage and measure their social media activity and keep pace with the real-time social conversations happening during the festival. Beyond serving as the social media management platform of record for Interactive, the Austin-based start-up also plans a large presence at the festival including a hosted lounge, meet-up and Airstream photo booth.
Spredfast's participation at SXSW Interactive dates back to the 2010 Accelerator program where the company was featured as a finalist in the competition. This year, the company is expanding its presence at the festival both online and in-person.

- Social CRM Meet-Up: Spredfast CEO, Rod Favaron, will host social CRM industry experts for an hour of brainstorming, idea-building and networking. Sunday, March 11, 11 am - Noon
- Spredfast Airstream Photo booth: Attendees can snap a photo of their SXSW experience in a 1967 vintage Airstream photo booth which will be traveling around the festival
In addition, Spredfast executives will be on hand at the Social Spot and the company's downtown headquarters to discuss and demo the platform including the recently announced Facebook tab creation and management functionality which allows users to expand their Facebook presence and maintain a holistic view of all social media programs from one system.
