ST. LOUIS, Dec. 1, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Navvis & Company (Navvis) announced today the appointment of Keith Svagerko, FACHE, as vice president. In this role he will consult on transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, hospital-physician alignment models and physician enterprise development. Keith has more than 15 years experience in healthcare business development. He has an extensive background in physician strategy development, including group practice and network formation, clinical integration and the development of ancillary services. He has specific interests in future models including innovative pay for performance (P4P) contracting strategies and accountable clinical management.
Prior to joining Navvis, Keith gained six years of experience in oncology serving as director of business development for Dallas-based Texas Oncology, P.A., and most recently as regional director of business development for US Oncology, The Woodlands, Texas. He has more than ten years of experience working with women's health care specialists in OB/GYN, maternal fetal medicine and reproductive endocrinology from his prior role as vice president of business development for Houston-based FemPartners.
Keith earned a bachelor's degree in general science from the University of Central Arkansas, graduating magna cum laude from the UCA Honors College. He earned a master's in health administration from Indiana University in Indianapolis and a master's in business administration from the University of Texas at Arlington. He is board certified, and a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), a member of the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) and board certified as a medical practice executive by the American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE). In addition, Keith participates on the board of directors for multiple non-profit civic- and community-based organizations to advance the arts and community-service missions.
