Amnesty International Activists Rally for other Political Prisoners in Myanmar
Rally to be Held in Union Square Park on Saturday evening November 13
NEW YORK, Nov. 13, 2010 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Amnesty International USA (AIUSA) is calling for the immediate and unconditional release of political prisoners in Myanmar. Activists will be participating in a demonstration and film screening at Union Square Park at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 13 to raise awareness of the more than 2,100 political prisoners in Myanmar.

Myanmar today has more than 2,100 political prisoners, including Nobel Peace Prize laureate Aung San Suu Kyi. These political prisoners must be released immediately and unconditionally before the election in order for Myanmar to have a free and fair election.
