Sutter Health Creates Informational Resources for Patients, Employees and the Public as Fires Continue
SANTA ROSA, Calif., Oct.11, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- As the Wine Country Fires continue, the health and safety of patients, communities and employees remain our highest priority. Sutter Health has established several informational resources for the community—including ongoing updates to clinic openings and closures.
Resources for Patients and the Public
Sutter Health has doctor's offices, outpatient care centers, hospitals and more in the areas currently impacted by fires. Individual location closures, wildfire and air-quality information and community resources can be found at sutterhealth.org/for-patients/community-alert.
Resources for Sutter Health Employees
Sutter Health employees also live in affected communities, and we know many of our dedicated employees have offered to help, even as their own homes were threatened. Employees can find more information about assistance available to them at sutterhealth.org/employee-update.
Other Questions, Concerns
Patients, their families, employees and community members with questions can also call a 24/7 hotline at 1-866-961-2889 to speak with a live representative, trained to help.
We are working with the California Department of Public Health in anticipation of the re-opening Sutter Santa Rosa Regional Hospital and we are assessing the conditions of our 14 Sonoma area care centers. In addition to the resources above we are updating the public using social media channels www.facebook.com/SutterHealth and www.twitter.com/SutterHealth.
