Susser Holdings Joins Fortune 500, Named 5th Largest Stock Gainer in 2011
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas, May 8, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Susser Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ: SUSS) has been recognized among America's 500 largest public companies by Fortune magazine. Based on 2011 sales of $4.9 billion, Susser today made its debut at No. 486 on the magazine's "Fortune 500" list.
Susser, which operates more than 540 convenience stores in Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma, was also recognized in the magazine's annual rankings as delivering the fifth-largest gain in shareholder return among all Fortune 500 companies last year, with a total return of 63.3%.

Compiled since 1955, the "Fortune 500" ranks U.S. companies by sales. Companies are ranked by total revenues for their respective fiscal years. Included in the survey are companies that are incorporated and operate in the U.S. and file financial statements with a government agency.
