Susquehanna Financial Group Hires Sean McDonald to Manage New York Cash Sales Trading
NEW YORK, Feb. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Susquehanna Financial Group, LLLP (SFG), the institutional broker-dealer member of the Susquehanna International Group of Companies (SIG), announced today its hiring of Sean McDonald as its Head of New York Cash Sales Trading. Mr. McDonald will start on April 5 and report to Charles Sweeney. He will be based out of SFG's New York office.
Mr. McDonald brings eighteen years of financial experience to his new role. He joins SFG from Sanford Bernstein, where he spent three years as a senior sales trader. Prior to joining Bernstein, Mr. McDonald spent two years as the head of sales trading at HSBC and twelve years working for Merrill Lynch in various sales and trading roles in both New York and San Francisco. Mr. McDonald started his career with SoundView Financial Group as a NASDAQ trader. He is a graduate of Georgetown University.
