Susan Stein, MPH, and Robert Stein, Esq, of Connexion Healthcare to Chair Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation's Tenth Annual Lemon Ball

NEWTOWN, Pa., Sept. 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Susan Stein, MPH, Founder and CEO/President of Connexion Healthcare, and Robert Stein, Esq, CFO/COO of Connexion Healthcare, will chair Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation's (ALSF) Tenth Annual Lemon Ball on Saturday, January 16, 2016, at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown. We are personally dedicated to improving the future of children with cancer, and it is part of the mission of Connexion Healthcare. Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) emerged from Alexandra Scott's (1996-2004) lemonade stand, which she started in her front yard as a 4-year-old child with cancer. ALSF has evolved into a national fund-raising movement, with thousands of supporters nationwide.

Join ALSF supporters for a night of fabulous food and dancing, stories from childhood cancer heroes, memories of Alex and her inspirational legacy, and recognition of award recipients for their commitment to ALSF and the fight against childhood cancer. Your support is important. Even though 1 in 330 children will be diagnosed with cancer by 20 years of age, less than 5% of the federal government's total yearly funding for cancer research is dedicated to childhood cancer. ALSF helps to fill the gap. Since 2006, ALSF has awarded more than 500 grants for childhood cancer research.

Last year's Lemon Ball raised more than $1 million for the fight against childhood cancer.
