The former executive vice president and chief marketing officer at Cisco Systems, Bostrom brings more than 25 years of enterprise-level strategic marketing experience to Marketo's board.

Bostrom will be keynoting this year's Marketo User Summit, guiding customers towards RPM success by tackling "Marketing and Sales in a Brave New World" on May 23 in San Francisco.
At Cisco Systems, Bostrom was responsible for developing and communicating Cisco's unique vision and strategy through positioning, branding, advertising and product marketing. She also had responsibility for the Worldwide Government Affairs organization and Cisco's Small Business Council. Bostrom also built Cisco's Internet Business Solutions Group with responsibility for advising global business and government leaders on the use of Internet applications. Bostrom currently serves on the Board of Directors for Varian Medical Systems, Cadence Design Systems, Stanford Hospital & Clinics and Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. She also serves on the advisory board of the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research (SIEPR) and the Stanford Graduate School of Business Advisory Council.
