Chief Executive magazine surveyed its CEO audience and found that business leaders clearly see the potential benefits digital transformation offers their company. Nearly half (43.7%) said it would have a big impact on how their company markets and sells, and CEOs felt that digital technologies would affect everything from the shape of their industry and supply chain to the kind of staff they employ.
"Digital transformation is as significant today as the industrial revolution was in the 1800s," said Marshall Cooper, CEO of Chief Executive Group. "And CEOs are struggling with understanding where to prioritize their investments and their efforts to generate the most return for the long-term. The CEO2CEO Digital Transformation Summit will allow CEOs to hear from key business leaders and meet with their peers to discuss strategies and solutions to steer their organizations in the right direction."
On December 8th, 100 CEOs and other senior executives will gather at the New York Stock Exchange for a full day of interaction and roundtable discussions.
Stephen Hoover, CEO of Xerox PARC, is the keynote speaker. Motivated by his passion for bridging functional silos, Hoover specializes in integrating technology, market, customer, and business opportunities – from fundamental R&D to commercial scale-up. PARC, a Xerox company, has pioneered many technology platforms – from the Ethernet and laser printing to the GUI and ubiquitous computing – and has enabled the creation of many industries.
Additional speakers include Andy Conrad, CEO of Google Life Sciences, Thomas Quinlan, President & CEO of R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company, Jay Walker, Executive Chairman of Walker Innovation, Andy Frawley, CEO of Epsilon, Joel S. Marcus, Chairman, CEO and founder of Alexandria Real Estate Equities, and Anshu Prasad, Partner, A.T. Kearney.
"CEOs tell us they are either leading digital transformation efforts at their firms or are working closely with their executive teams to facilitate the process. Now more than ever, CEOs need guidance and insight to help them point their organizations in the right direction," Cooper said.
