Through a combination of industry presentations and solution demonstrations, SIS will showcase the latest in perioperative IT that supports healthcare organization goals of operational efficiency, quality of care and improved profitability in the financial engine of the hospital – the Operating Room (OR).

Experts in Perioperative Interoperability
SIS will participate with over 70 other clinical information system vendors who have met the testing requirements necessary to participate in the HIMSS Interoperability Showcase, the premier forum for highlighting the Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise's (IHE) common framework for delivering interoperability across health information exchanges. SIS will demonstrate seamless perioperative connectivity using standards-based solutions from IHE and the Healthcare Information Technology Standards Panel (HITSP). The SIS perioperative software has also been certified to meet 2011/2012 Stage 1 meaningful use measures as a modular EHR.
SIS will demonstrate in the Connected Demonstration area of the Interoperability Showcase Monday – Thursday and will be giving a presentation, Interoperability in the Surgery Department in the Showcase Theater, Booth #7343, on Monday, February 21 at 1:15pm.
