SupplyCore Teams With Red River Army Depot to Bring Maintenance Support to U.S. Warfighters
ROCKFORD, Ill., Jan. 31, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- On September 23, 2010, SupplyCore, a leading distributor of maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) materiel and related supply chain management and logistics services, signed a Teaming Agreement with the Red River Army Depot (RRAD) in Texarkana, Texas. Under this agreement, RRAD and SupplyCore agreed to pursue opportunities of mutual interest in the maintenance and overhaul of combat and tactical vehicles. In the event that a contract is awarded to SupplyCore, RRAD is considered a partner and under a subcontract would provide direct labor personnel in support of the scope of work for the contract.
SupplyCore currently holds the Global Fleet Automotive Support Initiative (FASI-G) contract which supports the global distribution of spare and replacement parts for tactical and non-tactical vehicle fleets. RRAD's technical resources in depot maintenance including the capability to design and fabricate a wide variety of unique prototype parts and components complement SupplyCore's competences, resulting in a high quality and lower priced product to the war fighter.
