Supply Chain Visions Wins Deal to Analyze Support Alternatives for the new USAF Tankers

BOSTON, June 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Supply Chain Visions, Inc., a thought leader in cost-effective sustainment strategy and performance management, has been selected, teaming with Morgan Borszcz Consulting, to provide technical and strategic support services to the United States Air Force (USAF) KC-46 program office.  Supply Chain Visions will provide supply chain modeling and simulation expertise to assess the various sustainment strategies.

The KC-46 is a replacement tanker for the aging KC-135 fleet of Stratotankers.  The KC-46 leverages Boeing's 767 commercial airframe to provide increased refueling capacity.  The aircraft will also provide increased capabilities for cargo and aeromedical evacuation.  There are a range of sustainment options available, and the team will aid the program office in identifying the best value approach.
