Supply Chain Visions Selected by the Defense Logistics Agency for an Independent Capability Assessment

BOSTON, Dec. 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Supply Chain Visions, Inc., a thought leader in supply chain strategy and performance management, has been selected, as a subcontractor to Strategic Consulting Partners, to provide technical and research support services to the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support for an independent assessment of the Apparel Research Network (ARN) system. 

ARN is a retail/wholesale supply chain system that DLA Troop Support uses to support uniform clothing requirements for Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force recruits.  It is the first touch point between recruits and the nation's premier combat support agency.  "We're going to do right by the warfighter, right by the taxpayer, and do right by our people," as Vice Admiral Mark Harnitchek, DLA's director, told Military Logistics Forum earlier this year.
