PHOENIX, Nov. 8, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- SuperShuttle, the nation's largest airport ride sharing service, has acquired Supreme Shuttle of Washington Dulles International Airport and Washington Reagan International Airport. Effective immediately, this merger will result in improved service levels by offering airport passengers additional booking options and a larger fleet capacity.
"We are very happy to make this announcement today. With this merger, customers of both Supreme and SuperShuttle will experience an improved level of shared ride service. Whether shared ride or part of our new direct service, for 1 passenger or large families, these customers can expect guaranteed up front pricing and service performed by fully trained and uniformed professional drivers. We welcome all Supreme customers, drivers and employees to the SuperShuttle family."
The acquisition of Supreme Shuttle, which has operated shared van and direct services to and from the Washington DC airports since 2012, includes 25 vans and drivers and approximately 15 airport customer service representatives. This will increase SuperShuttle's fleet by 30% which will reduce airport wait times for passengers and improve routing, resulting in shorter travel times. The additional resources from Supreme will allow SuperShuttle to provide better coverage and new service offerings such as long haul service to destinations from Atlanta to New York City.
"Supreme Airport Shuttle's main objective has always been to improve passenger service at the airports, while helping drivers remain successful in their businesses. At this point in time, we believe one shared-van service at Dulles and Reagan airports creates more efficiency for drivers and better service for riders," said Matthew Mohebbi, owner of Supreme Airport Shuttle.
