Sunverge Energy Names ABB Software Veteran to Lead Product
Clinton Davis Joins Rapidly Growing Energy Storage Company to Oversee Product Strategy and Customer Programs; Brings Experience in Global Energy Hardware and Software
SAN FRANCISCO, June 9, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Energy storage leader Sunverge Energy named Clinton Davis as its Senior Vice President of Product and Program Management. Davis will be responsible for continuing the rapid expansion of Sunverge's hardware and software offerings that enable dynamic, automated and cost-effective management of the distribution grid. He also will direct the enhancement of the innovative services the company provides to electric utilities, retailers and solar installers to help them realize new value streams.

Previous positions include Vice President of Transmission and Distribution Industry Solutions, Director of Smart Grid Product Strategy and Industry Solutions Executive. Under his leadership, ABB was awarded the 2014 Innovation Award at European Utility Week for its Outage Lifecycle Management software. Customers using the software reported over 30 percent reduction in electric outage times without increasing operation and maintenance costs.
