"This service will allow us to reach several different audiences over the weekend including our volunteers, runners, spectators, local community (residents, businesses, etc.) and as a secondary way to communicate among internal staff, operations units, and medical personnel. This will be our sixth annual National Marathon and as this event grows, it is critical to be able to develop a communications plan that will allow us to reach out to the masses instantly.
