SunTrust Announces $100,000 Donation for Typhoon Haiyan Relief Efforts
ATLANTA, Nov. 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The SunTrust Foundation announced today it is making a $100,000 donation to the Philippine Red Cross Typhoon Haiyan relief fund.
"This storm devastated families and entire communities in the Philippines, and recovering from it will require the skills and resources from people around the world," stated William H. Rogers, Jr., chairman of the SunTrust Foundation. "Our contribution to the Philippine Red Cross will assist those with the greatest need, and help those communities begin to recover."
