Suntiva Hires Dave Copp as VP for Defense Business Unit

Copp will be responsible for the day-to-day operations as well as driving business growth and expanding our services and solutions to help our clients achieve their missions.
Copp brings nearly thirty years of experience leading highly successful teams through complex environments during periods of rapid growth and transition. With a career spanning operations, IT program management, organizational development, and strategy in both military and private industry, Dave has built and grown organizations by focusing on strategic results, leadership development, and identifying and cementing key partnerships to strengthen offerings.

Previously, Copp was the Senior Vice President of Operations and Strategy at Telesto Group where he led strategic initiatives helping clients improve their operational performance. Prior to that, he created Hains Point Solutions, a global advisory firm, where he generated 200% year-over-year growth serving clients that ranged from within the national security sector to entrepreneurs pioneering technology solutions. Copp's earlier experience includes Special Assistant and Chief of Staff to the Honorable Ashton B Carter, Director for Business Operations and Program Management at CACI, Special Assistant to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and a 20-year career in the United States Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer. He is a graduate from the United States Naval War College, the United States Naval Staff College, the Joint Forces Staff College, and from Jacksonville University.
