Sunpeaks Ventures Files Defamation Lawsuit

SILVER SPRING, Md., May 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Sunpeaks Ventures, Inc. (OTCBB: SNPK) (the "Company" or "Sunpeaks Ventures") announced today that is has filed a Complaint in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland against Deal Flow Media, Inc., Thomas Siudak, Red Carpet Books, Inc., and Bill Martlink alleging that they engaged in a systematic series of false, defamatory, and malicious statements as part of a larger conspiracy in an attempt to cause harm to the Company.

"We said last week that we will not stand by idly and allow Sunpeaks to be victimized by persons making baseless and scurrilous comments about the Company.  Today, we are backing up that statement," stated Mackie A. Barch, CEO of Sunpeaks Ventures.  "And it is very possible that, as we continue to investigate, we will seek to hold accountable other participants."
