Sungard Availability Services Brings VMware NSX to Hosted Private Cloud Solution for Dell EMC Infrastructures

WAYNE, Pa., March 19, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Sungard Availability Services (Sungard AS), a leading provider of information availability through managed IT, cloud and recovery services, today announced an expanded partnership with Dell Technologies by introducing a Hosted Private Cloud solution leveraging Dell EMC storage and compute as well as VMware's NSX network virtualization platform.   

For applications and data that organizations can't move to the public cloud, Sungard AS Hosted Private Cloud gives organizations the benefit of single tenant resource control along with added security and performance. Forrester¹ expects the market for hosted private cloud to grow nine percent annually over the 2017 to 2022 period.
