SunGard Availability Services Announces New Agreement with Amerinet, Inc.

WAYNE, Pa., April 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- SunGard Availability Services, the leading provider of information availability and disaster recovery services, today announced a new agreement with Amerinet, Inc., a leading healthcare solutions organization, offering recovery and managed remote hosting services to their more than 60,000 members. Together the companies will protect Amerinet's members from the risks associated with clinical and business system outages, focusing on infrastructure management expertise.

With the growing adoption of the Electronic Health Records (EHR), healthcare organizations are looking for solutions to assist with the recovery, security and regulatory compliance needs for these digital patient records. Remote managed hosting and cloud services, a hot topic in healthcare, will also be offered to Amerinet members as a way to further reduce capital expenditures while increasing resiliency, flexibility and scalability.
