Sun Trolley to Serve As Chariot for Mr. & Mrs. Lauderdale-By-The-Sea
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., April 18, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The quaint red and yellow Sun Trolley will play a special role in the upcoming Wedding Experience presented by the Lauderdale-By-The-Sea Chamber of Commerce Wedding Group. Mr. & Mrs Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, who will serve as the bride and groom, will make their grand entrance via the Sun Trolley.
On Friday, April 21, 2017 at 5:30 p.m., the Driftwood Beach Club (4417 El Mar Drive), will host the Wedding Experience, a mock wedding event that is open to the public. The event will feature décor, complimentary cake and beverage tastings, raffle prizes and a 50/50 drawing.
The Sun Trolley's own Executive Director, Robyn Chiarelli, her fiancé, Josh, and her daughter, Avery, will all be participating in this pseudo-ceremony. Chiarelli was recently named the 2014 Woman of the Year by the Women Transportation Seminar (WTS) South Florida Chapter, and featured in the Sun Sentinel for being named vice chair of the Association for Commuter Transportation TMA Council.
"My fiancé Josh and I are excited to participate as Mr. & Mrs. Lauderdale-By-The-Sea in this festive event featuring the Sun Trolley," said Robyn Chiarelli, Executive Director of the Downtown Fort Lauderdale Transportation Management Association. "This event will provide the bride- and groom- to-be with a beautiful visual as they plan their actual future wedding."
Last year the Sun Trolley, which been transporting passengers for twenty-five years, launched its charter service platform making the trolleys available for rental, for weddings and private events taking place in Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties.
"The authenticity of this event is attributed to our participating partners, and of course our volunteers Mr. and Mrs. Lauderdale-By-The-Sea – we couldn't do it without them," said Ellen Zavell, President of the Town's Lodging Association. "We want anyone and everyone who has thought about having their dream wedding right on the sand to join us so they can begin to see their vision transformed to reality."
