More than 500 bank employees volunteer at over 50 non-profits throughout the state
VINELAND, N.J., Oct. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- This Columbus Day, Sun National Bank will close its 60+ locations early, and more than 500 of its employees will deploy across the state as they participate in the second annual Banking on Our Communities Day, performing volunteer projects for more than 50 non-profit partners.
For the second year in a row, Sun employees will join dozens of organizations including Goodwill, ARC, Habitat for Humanity and the American Red Cross in order to participate in a variety of projects for approximately four hours from 1 to 5 p.m. They will work on everything from painting projects, tutoring children, and helping senior citizens with yard work, among many other community development initiatives.
