Sun Design Remodeling Specialists of Northern Va. Adds Three Members to its Design Team

FAIRFAX, Va., Jan. 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Sun Design Remodeling Specialists, Inc. of Burke, VA, today announced that it has added three new members to its design team as a response to the company's success and growth over the past year.  The new members are Christie Doebel, Jeanne Griffin and Kim Kruskamp.

Christie Doebel, Designer, is responsible for presenting innovative designs and for staying current on industry trends.  She prepares drawings, elevations and renderings for presentation to clients, and makes changes as the design is refined.   Before joining Sun Design, she was a Designer at Case Design and Remodeling and a Kitchen and Bath Designer at Kleppinger Design Group in Fairfax.  She earned a BA in interior design from Virginia Tech. She enjoys traveling, camping, skiing and wakeboarding.  She has traveled to Italy, France, Switzerland, Canada, and Korea and has driven across the United States five times.

Jeanne Griffin is a Specialty Designer. She works closely with clients, guiding them through the selection process. Working with the Lead Designers, vendors and Design Consultants, Jeanne makes sure that all finishes and fixtures adhere to the design program, budget and project time frame. She also oversees the design studio, keeping all samples and product information up to date and organized.  Jeanne has worked for over six years in the custom, high-end design build industry.  Her education and background is in the fine arts, as well as in the corporate sector. Jeanne enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs, practicing yoga, jewelry designs and painting.

Kim Kruskamp is a Design Associate.  She assists the lead designers at Sun Design to ensure that each client's vision is translated into perfectly tailored living spaces.  Kim helps keep all project objectives, planning documents, material selections and processes organized.   She comes to Sun Design from a position as designer/drafter at D.O.C. Unlimited in Athens, GA.  Kim earned a bachelor of fine arts from the University of Georgia and has won a number of professional and academic design awards.  Kim enjoys hiking and camping with her husband and dog, as well as snowboarding, swimming and cheering for the Georgia Dawgs.
