Sun Design Remodeling Specialists of Fairfax, Va. Wins Two Capital CotY Awards From the National Association of the Remodeling Industry

FAIRFAX, Va., Feb. 21, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Sun Design Remodeling Specialists, Inc. of Fairfax, Va., has won regional CotY Awards for excellence for two remodeling projects the company did last year in Northern Virginia. The awards were made by the Metro DC Chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI).  These mark Sun Design's 34th CotY Award since 1996.   

Sun Design won CotYs in two categories: "Grand Winner for Residential Addition $100,000 to $250,000" and 2nd Place for "Residential Interior $250,000 and Under." The former also has been nominated for a national CotY award.  Winners of national CotY awards will be announced at a ceremony in April in Texas.

Sun Design President Bob Gallagher, a former President of the Metro DC Chapter who is also an honoree of NARI's remodeler Hall of Fame, said, "The Metro DC region is a vibrant market for remodeling and construction, and Sun Design is having a great period of growth thanks to the many clients who recommend us."  He added, "We're honored that NARI has recognized us again for the creativity, quality and customer service that has been the hallmark of Sun Design for 24 years."

The Metro DC Chapter of NARI comprises about 500 remodeling companies including full-service contractors, design-build firms, manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, subcontractors, and other professionals who work in the remodeling industry.
